About Fasttoken

Analysis of 31 Mar 2026

Fasttoken (FTN) is the native currency of Bahamut, a Layer-1 EVM-compatible blockchain that launched in May 2023 with an innovative Proof of Stake and Activity (PoSA) consensus mechanism. Unlike traditional PoS systems, PoSA rewards validators based on both stake size and actual smart contract usage, creating dual incentives for network participation and developer activity.

The token serves as the backbone of the Fastex Web3 ecosystem, which includes the Fastex cryptocurrency exchange, Bahamut blockchain, Fastex Pay payment system, ftNFT marketplace, and various partner dApps. FTN is integrated with over 10 payment providers (MoonPay, Alchemy Pay, Simplex, Calypso Pay) and accepted by 300+ merchants globally across gaming, e-commerce, and enterprise solutions.

SoftConstruct, a $6B revenue IT conglomerate, backs the project. As of March 31, 2026, FTN trades at $1.09 with a market cap of approximately $472M.

Rankings diverge sharply between platforms: CoinGecko shows #103 while CoinMarketCap shows #210, reflecting different methodology for handling self-reported volume.

The network hosts over 4,100 validators, 67M+ transactions, and 6.85M holders. Bahamut ranks #162 by TVL on CoinGecko.

Circulating supply is approximately 430-470M tokens (sources vary) out of 880M total supply (after 120M token burn in October 2023). Daily trading volume has collapsed to under $100K, down from $1.2M in early March and $10.9M in February 2026, representing a 99% decline over two months.
