As of February 2026, Gate.io offers ETH staking yields up to 10.07% APY, significantly higher than the 2.78% base rate through transaction fee sharing, daily compounding (adding approximately 1.2% to annualized returns), and platform subsidies for VIP users. The token features zero lockup periods, instant redemption to ETH at any time, and a minimum stake requirement of just 0.1 ETH.

As of February 2026, GTETH has over 150,000 ETH staked (valued at $350+ million) and operates within a centralized exchange ecosystem, offering convenience but with increased platform risk compared to decentralized alternatives like Lido (which holds 24.7% market share, down from 32% in 2023) or Rocket Pool.
