The April 2026 Kelp bridge exploit left an approximately $20 million rsETH position exposed and froze EarnETH withdrawals for 27 days. Lido reported on May 29 that coordinated recovery funding and a 144 ETH first-loss share burn produced zero depositor loss.

Withdrawals are now operating normally, and the curator is unwinding rsETH under stricter dependency-review and exit-plan requirements.
