About Quantoz USDQ

Analysis of 12 May 2026

Quantoz USDQ is a MiCA-compliant USD-pegged stablecoin issued by Quantoz Payments BV, a Dutch Electronic Money Institution supervised by De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). Launched on November 18, 2024, USDQ maintains a 1:1 US dollar peg through 102% overcollateralization, with reserves held in a bankruptcy-remote foundation (Stichting Quantoz) consisting of at least 30% in systemically important bank accounts and the remainder in highly liquid US Treasury bonds.

USDQ is deployed on Ethereum (ERC-20), Polygon, Algorand (ASA), and the XRP Ledger, with LayerZero and Stargate cross-chain interoperability enabling transfers between networks. The token is listed on 30+ exchanges including Kraken, Bitfinex, and HTX, with cumulative trading volume exceeding $115 million since launch across both USDQ and its sister token EURQ.

Quantoz is backed by strategic investments from Tether, Kraken, and Fabric Ventures, and became a Visa principal member in February 2026, enabling stablecoin-linked virtual debit cards across Europe. The company has expanded its product line to five MiCA-compliant tokens (EURQ, USDQ, EURD, PLNQ, GBPQ), positioning itself as Europe's leading regulated multi-currency stablecoin issuer.

The fully doxxed team includes CEO Arnoud Star Busmann, CTO and co-founder Gaston Hendriks, CBDO and co-founder Henri de Jong, and CFO Nick Haasnoot, all operating under continuous DNB prudential supervision.
