About Reserve Rights

Analysis of 4 Jun 2026

Reserve Rights (RSR) is an ERC-20 governance and staking token for the Reserve Protocol, a platform enabling creation of decentralized, asset-backed stablecoins (RTokens) and Decentralized Token Folios (DTFs). Launched in May 2019 via Huobi Prime IEO, RSR serves dual functions: overcollateralization through staking and governance participation.

Full overviewShow less

As of June 4, 2026, RSR trades at approximately $0.002 with market cap below $130M and daily volume around $6M. Protocol TVL exceeds $200M with CMC20 index maintaining strong performance.

The protocol ranks 4th among governance tokens by developer activity (2026 rankings) and operates on Ethereum, Base, and Arbitrum. Major developments include AEON payment integration (April 2026) enabling RSR payments across 50M+ merchants in Southeast Asia, Nigeria, Mexico, Brazil, and Georgia via AEON Pay Web3 mobile payment solution, and deployment of 500K ARB grant from Arbitrum LTIPP program for liquidity incentives.

The RWA stablecoin narrative continues gaining traction in 2026. However, the critical RFC-1269 governance vote to burn approximately 30B RSR tokens (30% of max supply) and introduce veRSR governance mechanism remains unresolved 6+ months since the December 2025 proposal, creating prolonged tokenomics uncertainty that weighs on investor confidence despite improving real-world utility.
