The protocol supports bridging of major assets including USDC, USDT, ETH, and BTC with the lowest fees in the cross-chain bridge market. In August 2025, LayerZero acquired Stargate for $110 million after a competitive bidding war, retiring the STG token in favor of ZRO at a 1:0.08634 conversion ratio.

The protocol currently manages $348 million in TVL across its supported chains.
