About Synth

Analysis of 6 May 2026

Synth is a decentralized probabilistic price forecasting engine operating as Bittensor Subnet 50 (SN50), developed by Mode Network. Unlike traditional prediction systems that provide single-point price targets, Synth generates full probability distributions of future price movements using over 200 competing AI miners that each produce 1,000 simulated price paths.

Full overviewShow less

The network produces approximately 165 million data points daily across BTC, ETH, SOL, XAU (gold), tokenized equities (SPYX, NVDAX, TSLAX, AAPLX, GOOGLX), and recently added XRP, HYPE, and WTIOIL. Miners are scored using the Continuous Ranked Probability Score (CRPS), which evaluates both calibration accuracy and prediction sharpness.

The SN50 alpha token trades at approximately $2.78 with a market cap of $12.3 million, ranked #1130 on CoinGecko. Only 4.4 million of the 21 million max supply currently circulates (21%).

The core team includes James Ross (CEO, ex-Mode Network co-CEO), Nathan Seva (CTO), and Amber Shi (COO, Georgetown MBA). Subnet emissions have distributed over $2 million to miners since February 2025.
