Issued by Ondo Finance through its Ondo Global Markets platform, each USOON token provides economic exposure equivalent to holding USO shares with dividends reinvested. The underlying fund tracks the daily price movements of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) light sweet crude oil through near-month futures contracts that are rolled monthly.

Ondo Finance, founded by Nathan Allman (ex-Goldman Sachs Digital Assets, Stanford MBA), has grown to over $3 billion in total value locked across its tokenized asset platform and processes over $13 billion in cumulative trading volume. The platform holds SEC-registered broker-dealer, ATS, and transfer agent licenses through its acquisition of Oasis Pro, and its SEC investigation was closed without enforcement action.

USOON operates on Ethereum as an ERC-20 token, with smart contracts audited by Spearbit, Cyfrin, Halborn, and Zellic. The token enables non-US investors to gain oil commodity exposure 24/5 with instant minting and redemption, fractional ownership, and on-chain transparency of reserves.
