Pharos recorded a June 21, 2026 ongoing depeg event with a 57.8% below-peg deviation and $0.4216 price, and its stablecoin profile describes USX as a CDP-style stablecoin trading at a deep discount because of legacy debt positions on dForce/Unitus. Coinbase and Forbes June 2026 pages also show dForce USD around $0.42.
This conflict is not a clean recovery signal; it indicates ticker, venue, chain, or liquidity fragmentation around a stablecoin that already suffered repeated depegs since December 2025. The DF governance token has deteriorated further, trading around $0.0004 with market cap near $365K and negligible daily volume, leaving little credible capacity for recapitalization or peg intervention.
The dForce team continues operating DeFAI and vault products, but these remain decoupled from reliable USX redemption and do not resolve the legacy stablecoin debt problem.
