Built using Clarity smart contracts on Stacks, Zest Protocol manages approximately $86 million in TVL and has processed over 1,500 liquidations without incurring bad debt. The ZEST token trades near $0.18 with a market cap of approximately $28 million, ranked around #713 on CoinGecko.

The token launched on May 19, 2026, with simultaneous listings on Binance Alpha, KuCoin, Gate.io, and HTX, generating $83 million in 24-hour trading volume. The protocol raised $3.5 million in seed funding led by Draper Associates, with participation from Binance Labs, Yzi Labs (CZ's fund), and Flow Traders.

In May 2026, Zest launched Bitcoin Collateral Vaults, a self-custodial product enabling stablecoin borrowing directly on Bitcoin Layer 1 without moving BTC off-chain.
