The protocol raised $4 million in seed funding in May 2024 from Circle Ventures, Mechanism Capital, Frax Finance, and Arca. Partner broker-dealer Percent structures the underlying credit portfolios with underwriting teams from BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, UBS, and JPMorgan backgrounds.
Total value locked reached $116.56 million in early March 2026 and stood at $109.87 million on March 20, 2026. Base hosted $101.54 million of that March 2026 total while Ethereum held $7.71 million.
Reserve disclosures showed only 5.27% in cash equivalents after a March 2025 depeg to $0.82. The GENIUS Act compliance deadline on January 18, 2027 requires full backing by liquid assets such as Treasury bills.
