Gate Ethereum (GTETH) is the custodial liquid staking token representing staked ETH on the Gate.com exchange. Users deposit a minimum of 0.1 ETH instead of the 32 ETH required for an independent Ethereum validator.

Depositors receive GTETH at a 1:1 ratio and earn daily rewards from consensus issuance and execution fees. As of November 2026, circulating supply reached 169,265 GTETH, up from 150,000 GTETH in February 2026 according to CoinGecko.

The token bypasses Ethereum validator exit queues through instant exchange redemption and spot trading pairs. By February 2026, promotional staking yields with VIP subsidies reached 10.07% APY above the 2.78% base rate.

Unlike decentralized peers such as Lido with 24.7% market share, GTETH relies entirely on centralized exchange custody.
