Lombard Staked BTC (LBTC) is the largest liquid staked Bitcoin token, commanding roughly 60% of the Bitcoin liquid staking sector. Built on the Babylon Bitcoin staking protocol and secured by the Lombard Security Consortium including Galaxy, Kiln, P2P, and Figment, LBTC turns idle Bitcoin into yield-bearing collateral across more than 15 blockchains.

Each LBTC is backed 1:1 by native BTC held in Babylon self-custodial timelock scripts and verified on-chain via Chainlink Proof of Reserve and Cubist Bascule drawbridge attestations. In January 2026, Lombard completed native integration inside Ledger Live, allowing hardware wallet users to mint LBTC directly.
