The protocol migrated from a Polkadot parachain to an Ethereum Layer 2 rollup using OP Succinct in November 2025. Hardware enclaves powered by Intel SGX and Intel TDX secure off-chain execution on NVIDIA H100 and H200 GPUs.
On-chain cryptographic attestations verify every confidential computation. Phala Cloud has hosted workloads for over 1,000 developer teams at rates between $2.30 and $3.50 per GPU hour.
The platform holds SOC 2 Type I and HIPAA compliance certifications for regulated enterprise workloads. As of November 2026, circulating supply reached 868.5 million PHA out of a capped 1 billion maximum supply.
Institutional backers include IOSG Ventures, Candaq Fintech Group, and DWF Labs across $10 million in disclosed funding.
