Polygon PoS Bridged DAI is the cross-chain representation of Sky Protocol (formerly MakerDAO) DAI stablecoin on the Polygon PoS network. Every token on Polygon is minted 1:1 against canonical DAI locked in the Polygon PoS Bridge smart contracts on Ethereum mainnet.

As of July 2026, Polygon Bridged DAI held $563.9 million in market capitalization across more than 2.6 million Polygon addresses with $17.1 million in 24-hour trading volume. While underlying DAI maintains a multi-year peg record backed by overcollateralized vaults and tokenized US Treasuries, Polygon Bridged DAI lost its primary lending utility in February 2025 when Aave set bridged stablecoin collateral LTV to 0%.
