Resolv USR is a synthetic stablecoin protocol built around delta-neutral collateral and tranche risk segregation. Founded by Chris Tsai and Brian Nguyen, Resolv raised $10 million in April 2025 from CyberFund, Maven11, and Coinbase Ventures.

The design paired spot ETH and BTC reserves with short perpetual futures to target dollar parity. A junior liquidity tranche called RLP was structured to absorb funding volatility and counterparty losses before USR holders.
In February 2026, the protocol deployed $100 million of tokenized Janus Henderson JAAA credit on Aave Horizon with Centrifuge. On March 22, 2026, an attacker exploited the minting contract to create 80 million unbacked USR tokens.
The attacker drained roughly $25 million in ETH, breaking the dollar peg and triggering severe liquidity flight.
