Rocket Pool ETH (rETH) is the reward-bearing liquid staking token of Ethereum most decentralized staking protocol, live since October 2021. Unlike rebasing wrappers, rETH appreciates continuously against ETH as consensus and execution layer rewards accumulate across more than 4,000 permissionless node operators.

In February 2026, Rocket Pool activated its Saturn 1 upgrade following audits by Sigma Prime, Cantina, and Bailsec, lowering the node operator bond requirement from 8 ETH to 4 ETH and introducing gas-efficient Megapools. As of July 2026, rETH held $605.9 million in market capitalization and remained backed by August 2025 SEC guidance confirming rETH is not a security.
