Saturn Dollar (USDAT) is a Bitcoin-backed stablecoin protocol designed to deliver 11%+ annual yields while maintaining dollar peg stability. Announced in January 2026 with an $800,000 seed round from YZi Labs, Sora Ventures, and crypto angels, Saturn aims to build Bitcoin's credit layer through a dual-token system.

USDat is the base stablecoin backed 1:1 by tokenized U.S. Treasuries, while sUSDat is an ERC-4626 vault token that generates yield from Strategy STRC perpetual preferred shares.

The protocol combines Treasury stability with Bitcoin-linked exposure through monthly dividends from STRC. Saturn launched on Pendle with maturity dates set for August 27, 2026, though public mainnet deployment is still pending.

The founding team brings experience from Artemis and M31 Capital.
