Lido Staked Ether (stETH) is Ethereum's largest liquid staking token, representing staked ETH one-to-one with daily rebasing yield. In the July 2, 2026 CoinGecko backfill snapshot, stETH recorded a 14.70 billion USD market cap at 1,608.99 USD per token.

Users deposit ETH without the 32 ETH solo-staking minimum and earn 2.5% to 3.5% base staking APY. Rewards accrue directly in holder wallets via a daily oracle rebase at 12:00 PM UTC after a 10% protocol fee.

Lido launched Dual Governance in July 2025 and started a 16 billion USD validator migration in July 2026 to optimize performance.
