Vultisig is an open-source multi-chain wallet that replaces seed phrases with threshold signature cryptography. THORChain founder JP Thor launched the platform after raising 8.6 million USD from more than 16 investors.

The wallet splits cryptographic control across multiple user devices through the three-round DKLS23 multi-party computation protocol. Private keys never exist in complete form on any single phone, laptop, or server.

Users can store and swap assets across more than 36 blockchains including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. The team introduced its Plugin Marketplace in February 2026 to enable automated self-custodial DeFi execution.

Its fixed supply of 100 million VULT tokens launched in October 2025 to power tiered swap-fee discounts.
